Description Mario Mikocevic 2010-06-17 11:42:56 UTC
Description of problem:

Spacewalk 1.0 setup went fine, several systems registered,
all with one base channel and one updates channel.
Repo sync is done as cron.daily script.
Next day after new packages in repo show up, WebUI systems listing
still shows them as OK, as no new packages are available.
If I go to system channel subscriptions and deselect channel and apply
then select back and apply channel subscription, new packages are
now available for that system.

Comment 1 Rolf Linder 2010-09-13 19:53:39 UTC
Same problem here. Possible workarond as listed in some mailinglists is executing "rhn-profile-sync" on all registered systems. After that, updates show up in spacewalk UI.

What have been checked so far (at my installation):

- taskomatic engine is running (planned actions do run)
- taskomatic engine has been restart -> no effect

Mass-aligning under space12, so that we don't lose track of this bugzilla. This however does not mean that we plan (will be able to) address this bug in Spacewalk 1.2.

Comment 3 Jan Pazdziora (Red Hat) 2010-11-19 16:05:31 UTC
Mass-moving to space13.

Comment 4 Michael Mráka 2011-01-28 15:15:00 UTC
I hope I fixed this issue sometime in Spacewalk 1.2 development phase.
If it still does not work for you please reopen then bug.

Moving ON_QA ...

Comment 6 Tomas Lestach 2011-02-08 08:41:32 UTC
This bug has been fixed in Spacewalk 1.3.
