this is what it gave me to give to you...sorry..my first time submitting a bug..hope i did it right..
Your install can't find the kernel package in the header list. Are these official Red Hat Linux cds? I downloaded these CD's from ftp.redhat.com I then burned them with Adaptec Easy CD Creator PRO. During the downloading i had to do several resumes During the burning i noted my HD was realy fragmented and was in fear of a coastered CD. However it seemed to go fine, and gave no errors. Perhaps the problem is a bad download or burn? Thinking back, i think i had a simular problem before, giving a simular RHL error during install. I will reburn and test, also redownload and reburn and test. I will do as much as i can on this end. Thanks. PS* You guys do know that this is RHL 8.0 beta pensacola, right? I have checked the MD5sums, and it is correct. I have reburned the CD with the same error. Is the .ISO at ftp.redhat.com in the pensacola beta i386 en area corrupt in some way? Would assume alot more people would be complaining if so. This is tested on a Pentium 233? If so, I'm not sure that below i686 is supported on this beta... it's targeted at high-end systems.
