Description of problem:
While barak installed vm-tools within the VM, spice session froze and the VM consumes 100% cpu

kvmtrace output will be attached in the next comment.
kvm_stat showed 390k/s exits, about 90k for ioport, 90k for irq injection, 90k for mmu_pte_write, 90k for ins_emulation.

Try without spice. Install drivers one by one and see which one cause the problem. What was the command line? Where is the process?
