comment

The message got sent successfully. There seemed to be a delay in copying to the Sent folder - I don't know if that's related, although it was successfully placed in the Sent folder. Then thunderbird SEGV'd.

How to reproduce
-----
Here's what I did, although I repeated it and wasn't able to reproduce it a second time:
1. I selected two mails from my Sent folder
2. Then chose Message->Forward As->Attachment
3. wrote some blurb in the message body and hit Send.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. Updates to this package have been released since it was first reported. If you have time to update the package and re-test, please do so and report the results here. You can obtain the updated package by typing 'yum update' or using the graphical updater, Software Update.

Disable any extensions, plugins and non-default themes. Exit cleanly and restart thunderbird. Are you able to replicate the crash?

Comment 3 Jonathan Larmour 2010-08-21 22:51:41 UTC
This problem has only occurred once. I was hoping you'd be able to use the backtrace to look into the issue if you wanted to, but if you don't, that's fine - since I couldn't reproduce the issue with thunderbird 3.0.4, and still can't with the updated 3.0.6, you may prefer to just close the bug in that case. I'll leave it up to you.

Now that you have upgraded versions, I'm going to close this one out. The problem above was likely fixed.
