Description Michael Schwendt 2010-06-30 16:58:29 UTC
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:Guidelines#Packaging_Static_Libraries_2

Build: llvm-2.7-5.fc14.src.rpm

llvm-ocaml-devel
    contains only static libraries,
but no virtual -static package is provided

Comment 1 Bryan O'Sullivan 2010-06-30 17:16:25 UTC
This is normal packaging procedure for ocaml packages. If you want that addressed, take it up with the ocaml SIG, then reopen this bug or file a new one once they've sorted out what they want to do and have their approach implemented.

Comment 2 Michael Schwendt 2010-06-30 17:27:32 UTC
Yes, see packaging list where I've asked about Haskell, OCaml and other exceptions. I'm automating these tests, so the occasional false positive is only temporary. ;)
