I (tremble) would like to see pdfedit in EL-5/6 part of the dependancy chain is the bitmap package which you've said you don't want to maintain in EL-6 "for now" 

As such I would like to request an EL-6 branch.

I am happy to (co)maintain for EL-6 if you still don't want to maintain for EL-6.

No problem with me. you should have said it on the review request of bitmap, but it is not a big deal, I guess it would be a pretty anciant bug.

I usually file a new bug asking if you're happy with me branching from Fedora (EL-5 in this case) and then add the CVS change request onto the review request with a link to this ticket, avoids quite so much extra mail being sent to the package review mailing list as well as only asking the maintainer rather than the reviewer too :)
