anaconda bug trace dump
(For some reason my comment doesn't appear. Here's a second try) I can confirm this bug on a Dell Optiplex GX240 (256MB RAM, 40G disk). I have spent over 2 days trying every permutation/combination. Same error, at line 620. Jeez, I see the same error on a Penguin Computing Relion 200. Something seriously wrong, it seems.... I think this is the same problem I have. Autopartitioning Comes up first with error message: Could not allocate requested partitions: Partitioning fail: could not allocate partitions as primary partitions. and then asks to report dump file against anaconda. Autopartition fail
For the first two reporters -- these look like bad CDs due to the read errors on the CD-ROMs. Please verify the md5sum against that published on our FTP site. For the third bug, it is a duplicate of bug 58616 and should be fixed in the update disk available; your crash is caused by autopartitioning failing because you don't have enough unpartitioned space on the disk to be used and then you didn't choose to review the partitioning, thus you went forward without any partitioning information set. |
