Description of problem:
After a default package set install of the 0707.4 compose (Workstation variant) I was able to login into GNOME. The "Show desktop" button which usually sits in the bottom-left corner is not there. The user can add it manually via the "Add to pannel" menu.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Workstation variant and login to GNOME.
2.
3.

Actual results:
No Show desktop button

Expected results:
Show desktop button is present.

Additional info:
RHEL5 has this button enabled by default.

This is an intentional change in the default panel configuration that happened in the F11/F12 time frame.
