If you don't use the askmethod parameter, anaconda will automatically default to using the Fedora mirror system, which I believe does use GeoIP to figure out the fastest mirror for you. In other words, we already do this for you. That is nice to know! Just to verify this, I booted with the USB stick (that I had used for the install a few days ago) again and just pressed enter at the boot screen (to proceed without giving any parameters to the kernel line). After asking for the language and keyboard, anaconda demanded to know the disk partition where I have the Fedora ISOs. I click F2 to get other options, which listed the disks. I pressed Back and the installer quite abnormally. I did not see any choice of internet installation from mirrors. What am I missing? Regards. Please file a new bug with the exception that you hit.
