When one uses authconfig to configure winbind it should configure idmap_rid by default. This way the mapped userids will be the same on different systems using winbind.

idmap domains = $smbworkgroup
idmap config $smbworkgroup:backend      = rid
idmap config $smbworkgroup:base_rid     = 0
idmap config $smbworkgroup:range        = min_id - max_id

Authconfig has been replaced by authselect and it is no longer present in Fedora since Fedora 28.
