Description Stephen Gallagher 2010-07-19 11:06:14 UTC
Beginning with SSSD 1.3.0 (the release candidate of which is currently in Rawhide as 1.2.91), SSSD will need 'getattr' and 'read' access to /proc/net/psched (used internally by libnl to read netlink messages).

Summary:

SELinux is preventing /usr/sbin/sssd "getattr" access on /proc//net/psched.

Detailed Description:

[SELinux is in permissive mode. This access was not denied.]

SELinux denied access requested by sssd. It is not expected that this access is
required by sssd and this access may signal an intrusion attempt. It is also
possible that the specific version or configuration of the application is
causing it to require additional access.

Allowing Access:

You can generate a local policy module to allow this access - see FAQ
(http://docs.fedoraproject.org/selinux-faq-fc5/#id2961385) Please file a bug
report.

Steve, is sssd going to read this file? /proc/23793/net/psched

Comment 2 Daniel Walsh 2010-07-19 15:05:16 UTC
This looks like it is in Rawhide.
