Description Gene Czarcinski 1999-10-22 10:03:58 UTC
I have a Dell 7000 inspiron on which I have installed 6.1.

This laptop has an integrated ESS 1968 Maestro 2 sound
"card".

When I use sndconfig to attempt to configure sound, I get
messages indicating that it recognized the ESS 1968 Maestro
2 sound "card", that the Maestro 2 driver was not
"currently" available and that I could get it from
ftp://people.redhat.com/zab/maestro ... zab/maestro does not
exist.

Gene

Looking here, the message points to:

http://people.redhat.com/zab/maestro/,
which does exist.
