This issue has been proposed when we are only considering blocker issues in the current Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. ** If you would still like this issue considered for the current release, ask your support representative to file as a blocker on your behalf. Otherwise ask that it be considered for the next Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. ** Nothing to do in the kernel for this, we will monitor the final pci-id pull for R6. I think this should be under the hwdata component. Latest upstream pci.ids has the correct description for 8086:10ED I just checked this and it's still wrong. I went to: http://pci-ids.ucw.cz/read/PC/8086 and it's showing it still listed as 82559. I'm sending Martin Mares mail to accept the change I submitted last week. *** Bug 625700 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** The ID upstream has been corrected so when the ID's are once again on the 25th, the string will be correct. Has Intel verifed this BZ? If so, please set the verified flag. Thanks! The ID string in now correct in RC1. Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.0 is now available and should resolve the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed with a resolution of CURRENTRELEASE. You may reopen this bug report if the solution does not work for you. |
