Description of problem:
Running "ldconfig -v" as root gives the following error messages :

/usr/lib:
ldconfig: Cannot stat /usr/lib/libpbm.so: Too many levels of symbolic links
ldconfig: Cannot stat /usr/lib/libpgm.so: Too many levels of symbolic links
ldconfig: Cannot stat /usr/lib/libpnm.so: Too many levels of symbolic links
ldconfig: Cannot stat /usr/lib/libppm.so: Too many levels of symbolic links
ldconfig: Cannot stat /usr/lib/libglide3.so: No such file or directory

Steps to Reproduce:
1. become root (su -)
2. run "ldconfig -v"
3.
	

Actual Results:  The following error messages appeared :

/usr/lib:
ldconfig: Cannot stat /usr/lib/libpbm.so: Too many levels of symbolic links
ldconfig: Cannot stat /usr/lib/libpgm.so: Too many levels of symbolic links
ldconfig: Cannot stat /usr/lib/libpnm.so: Too many levels of symbolic links
ldconfig: Cannot stat /usr/lib/libppm.so: Too many levels of symbolic links
ldconfig: Cannot stat /usr/lib/libglide3.so: No such file or directory


Expected Results:  Just the usual expected output from "ldconfig -v", e.g. no
error messages.

This appears to be a bug in the netpbm package.

Fixed in latest version (9.24-2)
