Description Shawn Adams 2002-04-01 19:08:42 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows NT 4.0)

Description of problem:
The script "/etc/rc.d/init.d/named stop" kills the named daemon rather than
shutting down properly with "/usr/sbin/rndc stop". Changes made via dynamic
DNS are not written to the zone configuration files.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Configure DNS services with dynamic DNS enabled.
2.Make changes through dynamic DNS.
3.Shutdown the DNS daemon by running "/etc/rc.d/init.d/named stop"
