Description Jared Smith 2002-04-02 00:46:08 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 Galeon/1.2.0 (X11; Linux i686; U;) Gecko/20020326

Description of problem:
During the install routine, I can't use the 10-key pad (the number pad on the
right hand side of the keyboard) to enter IP addresses in the network
information section of the setup. I tried turning on and off the number lock,
but was still unable to enter numbers using the keypad.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start the install
2. Wait until it prompts you for network setup information
3. Try typing an ip address using the 10-key pad

Actual Results: No numbers appeared

Expected Results: Numbers should have appeared

Additional info:

I think that the installer for 7.2 had this same problem...

Comment 1 Jeremy Katz 2002-04-03 17:44:41 UTC
msw fixed this.

Comment 2 Jay Turner 2002-04-03 22:43:01 UTC
I'm able to use the keypad to enter IP address information in the loader of the
latest trees. Please reopen if this error was happening later in the
installation and not right after selecting the installation method.

Comment 3 Jay Turner 2002-04-03 22:50:22 UTC
Actually, I checked the latest installer and I see this is actually happening
during the second stage in the GUI, so reopening.

Comment 4 Jeremy Katz 2002-04-04 18:52:01 UTC
Fixed later than the tree Jay tested

Comment 5 Jay Turner 2002-04-04 20:51:29 UTC
Fix confirmed in 4/4/2002 katzj tree.
