Right you are. That sentence now reads: "After you have created a channel bonding interface file such as ifcfg-bond0 and inserted SLAVE=yes and MASTER=bond0 directives in the bonded interfaces following the instructions in Section 4.2.2, “Channel Bonding Interfaces”, you can proceed to testing and determining the best parameters for your bonded interface." Also, the directive for SLAVE= in "14.2.1. Ethernet Interfaces" has been fixed (to say "answer" instead of "bond-interface"). Thanks Adrien. This fix will be in build Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux-Deployment_Guide-5-web-en-US-6-16.el5 or later; staging soon and moving to ON_QA. |
