dbus-qt is qt3 based binding and would not be involved here. reassigning to kdelibs though im not sure it is the right component Triaged. The archlinux bug theorizes the bug is fixed in dbusmenu-qt-0.5.x, but apparently not, as that's the version used here, 0.5.2 Tentatively marking as kde-4.5 blocker, until we can investigate further. Not reproducible here, using $ rpm -q dbusmenu-qt kdenetwork dbusmenu-qt-0.5.2-1.fc13.x86_64 kdenetwork-4.5.1-0.1.fc13.x86_64 Considering neither the archlinux or kde upstream report has much activity either, taking off kde-4.5 blocker status. OK, I can seemingly reproduce this now, simply right clicking kopete systray isn't enough, you need to actually select/click one of the items that appear. Seems I can make plasma-desktop's RSS measurement (according to ps aux) increase by ~1mb per click. (at least that's what happened the first 4 times I tried it) dbusmenu-qt-0.6.3-1.fc14 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/dbusmenu-qt-0.6.3-1.fc14 dbusmenu-qt-0.6.3-1.fc14 has been pushed to the Fedora 14 testing repository.
