Description of problem:
I upgraded skipjack using up2date, when It upgraded the arts module sound was no
longer available. When using the console it would state that the sound server
was unavailable. When I tried to start the sound server I would get an error
about an unkown symbol. When I removed the updated arts and backed up to the
arts package from the skipjack distro I was able to use sound agin, but was no
able to use kdemultimedia functions such as startup sounds or anything which
used the kdemultimedia players.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. update arts through up2date
2. open kcontrol from console
3. test sound server
