Created an attachment (id=441668) File: backtrace The stack trace appears to be incomplete, possibly because entangle-debuginfo is missing ? Can you double-check that you have the matching debuginfo installed. Also please run it with '--debug-entangle' and '--debug-gphoto' command line options & upload the resulting (huge) debug output to this ticket. Package: entangle-0.1.0-4.fc13 Architecture: i686 OS Release: Fedora release 13 (Goddard) How to reproduce ----- 1. Do not plug in a camera 2. Launch the application Comment ----- The application doesn't get as far as drawing a window before crashing. If I plug in my camera, it will show me the camera selection dialogue box and things work fine, compatibility with my particular camera notwithstanding. If I disconnect the camera using the menu, Entangle crashes with a slightly different crashdump that shows up separately in ABRT. Rather than letting ABRT create another bug, I'll try to figure out how to attach the relevant report manually. Created attachment 449630 [details]
Backtrace after installing debuginfo
I ran a "debuginfo-install entangle" and it installed a load of debuginfo packages. It took me a couple tries to get everything downloaded (my glibc wasn't up-to-date so it couldn't find the appropriate debuginfo for my installed version) but I think I got everything. The new stack trace doesn't look any more useful, but since I don't know what I'm looking at, I'll attach it just in case.

This is the requested debug output from "entangle --debug-entangle --debug-gphoto > entangle-output". Hmm. I should note that "Photo2" is the memory card from my camera that was plugged in via a reader. I ejected it and tried again and it works fine, showing me the camera selection dialogue box (with no cameras, of course). > ** (entangle:2565): DEBUG: context: This camera does not offer any configuration options.
This last line of the log is interesting/useful. I've not tested with a camera which doesn't have config options before, so there's probably an edge case I screwed up.
