Description of problem:

With the current build, I don't get notifications on new messages. I did
with the previous build.

gwibber-2.31.91-1.832bzr.fc14.noarch

How reproducible:

100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. start gwibber
2. think 'hm, it seems awfully quiet'
3. switch over to the workspace it's running on and see lots of updates
  
Actual results:

No notifications.

Expected results:

Ooodles of attention-stealing notifications popping up over my work.

Yeah, I thought this was because of https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=626852 , but with the workaround, things still don't work here.

Haven't had time to figure out what is going wrong.
