------- Comment From rsisk.com 2010-10-04 10:36 EDT------- Code Upstream Status: Accepted @IBM *if* this gets accepted into the release, once test bits are available, we'll need you to provide prompt test feedback here. Thanks! ------- Comment From mgrf.com 2010-12-08 10:01 EDT------- The code for this feature is available for download Latest source code has to be downloaded from DeveloperWorks http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/linux/linux390/snipl.html Please select the latest version 2.1.9 available since 2010-09-16 LPAR support requires the management library ??? hwmcaapi ??? z/VM guest support requires ??? DMSVSMA.X ??? Both libraries require a signed agreement between Red Hat and System z to allow Red Hat to distribute the libraries with a separate license and to forbid customers to redistribute the libraries. That agreement got reviewed by IBM and Red Hat attorneys for RHEL 6 inclusion but is not yet signed by Red Hat Closing this as DEFERRED since it won't go into 6.1 but will be reviewed for RHEL 6.2. *** Bug 636859 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** |
