Description of problem:
The core iSCSI protocol has no mechanism for LUN creation or deletion. Many vendors have private APIs / commands that can achieve this. Libvirt should be able to use them.

I think if we've gotten this far without getting into the iscsi lun creation business then it's never going to turn into a real requirement, especially given practical difficulty of interfacing and testing with multiple different vendor tools.

I'm closing this but if anyone out there is interested on working on this or providing patches please contact libvir-list
