Description Petr Sklenar 2010-09-22 17:15:03 UTC
Created attachment 448993 [details]
same organization in list like my actual org

Description of problem:
Moving between organization doesn't work

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Satellite-5.4.0-RHEL5-re20100910.2

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. login with organization-A
2. create organization-B and add trust for the organization-B
3. System > some system > migrate
4. there is list with organization where is only organization-A.
If I create and trust organization-C, then there is twice organization-A
5. migrate into organization-A > error message

Actual results:
4: list is with exclusively organization, which shouldn't be there.

5: error is
    * **system.migrate.same_org**
    * Systems can only be migrated between trusted organisations.

Expected results:
list is with other organizations (organization-B and organization-C) and I can migrate to them.

Additional info:
screenshot: there is exclusively org in list which I am logged in

Petr - if you register system in Org B - do you see Org A in drop down box to migrate/move too?

Wondering if this a base-org (org 1) specific issue.

Justin - Hum, either fix, or remove tab from navigation (we fix Release Notes).

Comment 5 Partha Aji 2010-09-23 20:45:47 UTC
Should be fixed in git commit 7dd64d6e9c635aa2de1968ee47d326cc29f9c31c and spacewalk-java-1.2.39-18-sat

Comment 10 Shannon Hughes 2010-09-28 21:32:45 UTC
there was an issue with IBM jvm with the way it was handing hibernate sets being instantiated within ArrayLists that the spacewalk sun jvm did not have. we had to change code to add sets separately.

Comment 13 Petr Sklenar 2010-10-05 13:50:47 UTC
tested migration in webUI and it works. There is list of all my orgs in
migrate-list, and when I click on one in list then system is migrated into.
