Description MartinG 2010-09-27 20:23:59 UTC
Description of problem:
man has started to use "more" instead of "less" for viewing manpages.

Version-Releaseman-db-2.5.7-6.fc15.x86_64 number of selected component (if applicable):
man-db-2.5.7-6.fc15.x86_64
man-pages-3.27-3.fc15.noarch

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type eg. "man make" and see that "more" is in use, not "less".

Run "PAGER=less man make" to have the old behavior with "less" as the pager.

Additional info:
Discussed at #fedora-devel. This is probably the change that caused this:
 Fri Sep 24 2010 Ivana Hutarova Varekova <varekova> - 2.5.7-6
  - Resolves: #630506 (change the description)
  - minor spec file changes

Suggested action is to add "less" to the buildreq.
