How to reproduce
-----
1. Start Thunderbird
2. Wait for a number of hours
3. Thunderbird will be frozen

My thunderbird is configured to connect to a number of IMAP accounts, as wel as a GMail account through IMAP. The extentions that are installed are:

- Lightning
- Provider for Google Calendar
- Google Contacts
- Browser Bounce
- Signature Switch
