Description Jeff Bastian 2010-09-30 23:53:15 UTC
Description of problem:
The RHEL 4.8 ES README files all say "AS" instead of "ES".

$ cd /usr/share/doc/redhat-release-4ES
$ head -1 README-x86_64-en
                    Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (Nahant .8)
$ head -1 README-x86_64-en.html | sed 's/.*<title>\(.*\)<\/title>.*/\1/'
 Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (Nahant .8)

Please fix this for RHEL 4.9 ES.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
redhat-release-4ES-9

How reproducible:
every time

Steps to Reproduce:
1. look in /usr/share/doc/redhat-release-4ES/README* for the string "Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES"

Actual results:
AS is mentioned instead

Expected results:
ES is mentioned

Additional info:

Comment 1 Nick Petrov 2010-12-20 13:27:27 UTC
it says "AS" for all variants not only for ES, but also WS and Desktop.

This should probably be fixed in README-master-en.xml, @VARIANTUPPER@ is always AS

Comment 3 Alexander Todorov 2011-01-13 12:01:03 UTC
# rpm -q redhat-release
redhat-release-4ES-9.2

# head -1 README-x86_64-en
Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES (Nahant .8)

# head -1 README-x86_64-en.html | sed 's/.*<title>\(.*\)<\/title>.*/\1/'
Red Hat Enterprise Linux ES (Nahant .8)

Moving to VERIFIED.
