Description Werner Gold 2010-10-07 18:07:41 UTC
Description of problem:

Main Menus disappeared. In the buddy list as well as in the chat window.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
pidgin-2.7.3-1.fc13.x86_64.rpm

How reproducible:

Don't know. It is gone and I can't get it back. It has nothing to do with preferences.

Removing .purple doesn't work.
Affects all users on the system - also new/fresh setups
User on x386 with copied homedir is not affected.

Actual results:

Menus gone.

Looks like a library problem. Empathy behaves the same.

Comment 2 Stu Tomlinson 2010-10-07 18:57:07 UTC
If it is a problem and not a misconfiguration it's most likely a Gtk issue, I guess. Reassigning as it's certainly not a Pidgin bug.

Solved:

 rpm -e gnome-applet-globalmenu gnome-globalmenu-common
