The workaround is this: echo -e '#!/bin/sh\nexit 1' > /usr/bin/calibre-mount-helper ; chmod +x /usr/bin/calibre-mount-helper Hum. Seems the patch to enable the mount-helper broke. ;( I'll dig and see about getting it fixed up. Thanks for reporting this! Here is the thread I posted on upstream's message board: http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=101935 It seems he doesn't think much of any distro's calibre packages. I don't know whether it's something that can be worked out :/ calibre-0.7.23-1.fc14 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/calibre-0.7.23-1.fc14 Can you test the above update and provide karma? I also posted on the upstream thread. calibre-0.7.23-1.fc14 has been pushed to the Fedora 14 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. If you want to test the update, you can install it with su -c 'yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update calibre'. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/calibre-0.7.23-1.fc14 WFM thanks. Karma thing done. Btw (separate bug probably), I get lots of these when I close calibre using the X close window button. Package: calibre-0.7.23-1.fc14 Latest Crash: Sun 10 Oct 2010 12:36:08 Command: python /usr/bin/calibre-parallel Reason: worker.py:96:main:EOFError Comment: None Bug Reports: Yeah, I have seen that as well, but not managed to fix it. Basically it's getting an EOFError from other threads when shutting down sometimes. ;( calibre-0.7.23-1.fc14 has been pushed to the Fedora 14 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. |
