Description Šimon Lukašík 2010-10-26 10:34:06 UTC
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
sat540

How reproducible:
1 of 1

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Sync rhn-tools-rhel-x86_64-server-5
2. Make its clone on Webui
Channel 'Clone of Red Hat Network Tools for RHEL Server
(v.5 64-bit x86_64)' is successfully created
3. On the details page, do not edit anything but hit the
'Update Channel' button

Actual results:
Big Red banner: 'Channel name can not exceed 64 characters long'

Expected results:
Either update works or creation do not.

Additional info:
 - I am describing steps I have done, but it may also work with
more general reproducer.
 - Full channel name is successfully stored in database:
select name from rhnchannel where label like 'clone%';
Clone of Red Hat Network Tools for RHEL Server (v.5 64-bit x86_64)
