Description Ujjwol 2010-11-01 06:05:38 UTC
Description of problem:
Brahmic Keyboard is a new keyboard layout for Devanagari input used for Hindi, Marathi, Nepali, Sanskrit and many Indian Languages. It is an easy layout designed for non english literate Indic langauge users. It tries to fix the steep learning curve of Inscript and English knowledge assumption of Transliteration/Phonetic methods.

Currently it has been designed for Devanagari, Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.

Please add support for these keyboard layouts in fedora.

Its always good to get this added in upstream first. You can also contribute these maps at http://www.m17n.org/m17n-lib-en/

Join the mailing list m17n-lib-2010 for discussion on these keyboards at http://www.m17n.org/m17n-lib-en/mailinglist.html

Please work with upstream to get these keymaps in m17n-contrib.
