I have seen many crashes while experimenting with our home grown applet. It seems more likely to happen if I try to drag the Firefox scroll bar while the applet is running a batch process wherein it periodically calls out to Javascript and/or works with the page DOM. However, it also happens during applet startup or restart once in a while. I also saw crashes on Fedora 13 with previous Firefox versions, so I am not sure this is a new problem even though the frequency seems increased. I also see different kinds of problems on SeaMonkey on Fedora 14 with the same applet.

We're using mozilla crash reporter now, ABRT is no more used for Firefox/Thunderbird. If you can reliably reproduce the crash (you have a testcase, reproduction steps, etc.) please reopen the bug and attach the reproduction info and assign it directly to me (stransky).
