How to reproduce
-----
1. Tried to produce a pdf with LyX after choosing XeTeX output from the document settings. The actual document contained only a few lines of text without any styles.
2. LyX crashed but produced a PDF

This bug appears to have been filled using a buggy version of ABRT, because
it contains a backtrace which is a duplicate of backtrace from bug #602031.

Could you try alpha-6 to see if this bug is fixed there?

If not then beta 1 should be released in the next day and if the problem persists there I will bring this issue to the developers list.
