Perhaps a dbus problem. gnome-volume-mixer is segfaulting with a dbus related problem but after removing pulseaudio from the system, it works fine controlling the alsa mixer. Please run gnome-volume-controls, and see if the speaker setup dialog works properly. If necessary try to switch to a different port. Try alsactl init 0, and check if that works. very old needinfo'd stuff, closing for now. feel free to reopen if still occurs of have the data as requested. |
