lyx-2.0.0-0.8.alpha6.fc14 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 14. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/lyx-2.0.0-0.8.alpha6.fc14 I do not want to seem unappreciative but beta 1 is around the corner. :-) ftp://ftp.lyx.org/pub/lyx/devel/lyx-2.0/beta1/ The public announce is only waiting for positive reviews (thumbs up) from other developers. no worries. Actually, my bad for letting this fly under my radar, shipping f14 with an alpha build is certainly far from ideal. Anyway, we can update to the beta1 candidate, if you want (or would you rather we wait)? I am equally guilt here. I have been quite busy in the last months and since I have been using lyx on a daily basis with no crashes I forgot (in sense) that we are getting to the beta stage just now. LyX 2.0 has been stable for my usage, writing articles, doing presentations, writing progress reports and so on. I think that can update to beta1 now (Pavel has released the formal announce now so all should be OK now). Also the jump from alpha to beta means that lyx is stabilizing now and the traffic on the mailing list confirms this view. ok, beta1 incoming It would be nice to have the build for F-14 as well. :-) If I were not so busy I would do it myself. :-) lyx-2.0.0-0.8.alpha6.fc14 has been pushed to the Fedora 14 testing repository.
