Description of problem:
Upon launching slingshot in any way (from menu, launch dialog or command line) a black window appears and instantly disappears again. No information is given on the command line.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
slingshot-0.8.1p-4.fc12.noarch.rpm

How reproducible:
Try and run slingshot

Steps to Reproduce:
1. open a terminal window.
2. run slingshot
  
Actual results:
A windows appears for an instant, and disappears again.
The terminal show nothing more than:
[dirk@fedora ~]$ slingshot
[dirk@fedora ~]$ 

Expected results:
I expected slingshot to run.

Additional info:
Everything was working fine in Fedora 13.

The logfile created by slingshot itself seems to show the exception quite clearly.
