I usaully compile drm,linux-2.6(kernel modules out-of-tree)mesa(only built(NOT installed) and the DDX
driver from the git repositories.

I usaully have to put "nouveau.noaccel=1" to the kernel parameters on all the kernels I use.
If I don't,the driver will load to the desktop, but will freeze after a couple of minutes.
I have talked to the nouveau developers on their irc channel, and they are aware of my problem.
I've just re-installed the latest packaged versions of libdrm and xorg-x11-drv-nouveau,but I am still geting the same effect
with packaged versions as well.I very much hope this can be resaolved soon.

How to reproduce
-----
1.boot into latest kernel compiled from kernel.org with drm.debug=14
2.log into kdm as root
3.wait for the desktop to load
