Looks like NSS-related ... reassigning.

Matej, are you able to reproduce the crash?

Comment 10 RHEL Program Management 2011-04-04 01:54:44 UTC
Since RHEL 6.1 External Beta has begun, and this bug remains
unresolved, it has been rejected as it is not proposed as
exception or blocker.

Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to
propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the
next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Thank for the new back-trace with symbols. The segmenation fault exception is thrown while idle, waiting for an event and we are in mozilla/nsprpub/pr/src/pthreads/ptsynch.c::PR_WaitCondVar: Since the crash doesn't happen on RHEL 6.2 which I have been running daily for over a months I compared the nspr sources for 4.8.6 against 4.8.7 and 4.8.8. I don't see any changes in the pthreads area. A big difference is the version of Thunderbird, 3 versus 5.

I'll try to dig some more as my time permits. nspr, nss along with the Mozilla applications are due an update RHEL 6.2 coming out at year's end.
