My vim-latex package:
rpm -q vim-latex
vim-latex-1.8.23-1.20101027.r1112.fc14.noarch

My bugfix was closed in vim-latex project on 2010-10-28 20:10:59 UTC.

Maybe vim-latex package contain not patched version of vim latex suite.

Please update vim-latex to last version provides by official vim-latex project. It contains other usefull patch.
