Hm, nothing in the logs is terribly helpful. Can you explain where you got the DVD? Did you run media check beforehand? Is this problem at all reproducible?

Got the x86_64 dvd iso from rhn site as soon as rhel 6 was released.
Iso md5 is ok. Also dvd integrity check while installing is ok. Local
installation media was successfully detected. Then the partitioning is
done properly. Very next step it fails. Always reproducible in my
desktop one year old custom assembled machine with two 500 gig hdds. Is any more
information required ? i am trying to install it on my second disk on
the last two partitions. Thanks.

Hm, okay. Could you also include /tmp/yum.log? After that, I'm not sure where to look next.

One more strange thing was observed, there is a network configuration window below the network name assignment button. I opened it and deleted the ethernet interfaces. After that , on clicking the button, I am no longer getting the network configuration window.

I know that this might need to be posted as a new bug. but i thought it might point us in the right direction.

Also, it seems my bios drive order is swapped ( my guess )

Please attach /tmp/storage.log from the failed install. Thanks.
