Description htd 2010-11-16 16:49:54 UTC
Description of problem:
When su-ing to "root" in a Gnome console and entering "init 3", nothing happens.
It's not possible to change the runlevel. Thereafter, the machine is not rebootable any more.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
Always. Just install F14, update it, open a Gnome console, su to root, and enter "init 3" (or whatever runlevel you like).

Actual results:
Nothing happens, the machine soft locks, no reboot possible. If you klick on "shutdown", the buttons for "restart" and "shutdown" are vanished.

Expected results:
Getting into runlevel 3.

Additional info:
This is reproduceable on 2 laptops and 3 different pc's. I'm back on F13.
