Description scenefinale 2010-11-20 07:45:03 UTC
Description of problem:
On a default install of F14 the firefox bookmark for "Release Notes" visible by default in the toolbar takes you to
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/release-notes/
which in turn, redirects you to...

http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora/13/html/Release_Notes/
instead of
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/Fedora/14/html/Release_Notes/

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Fedora 14

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Install Fedora 14 (used amd64 iso)
2.Open firefox (3.6.10 x86_64)
3.Click "Release Notes" on Bookmarks Toolbar

Rudi: I think this is a redirect error. Can we completely remove the redirects, now? Of course this would prevent the smaller link from working at all, correct?

Comment 2 Karsten Wade 2011-12-14 03:49:18 UTC
Removing myself for these bug components as I'm either no longer involved in that aspect of the project, or no longer care to watch this particular bug. Sorry if you are caught in a maelstrom of bug changes as a result!

Comment 3 Pete Travis 2012-06-02 19:16:54 UTC
Fedora 14 is no longer supported as of 18Dec2011. I've verified that http://docs.fedoraproject.org/release-notes/ redirects as expected to the current release.
