How to reproduce
-----
1. Start Glade.
2. Open .glade file set to GTK+ 2.12.
3. Select GtkImageMenuItem.
4. Set "action appearance" property to no.
5. Select "Custom label and image"

Try to set "Custom label and image" for a GtkImageMenuItem after disabling the "action appearance" property.

1. Open Glade (for the first time)
2. Click on Window in Toplevels
3. Click on Vertical Box in Containers
4. Add Status Bar to of container
5. Add menu bar to top of container
6. Click on File on Menu Bar in Window display -> Crash

The second time I opened Glade, a drop down menu appeared as expected - this crash only happened the very first time I used Glade.
