Description of problem:
kpackage blows up sometimes, rpm also has a problem in my box, sometimes not
reporting installed or uninstalled  .rpms's.

Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1.use kpackage to install a .rpm
2. use 'rpm -q <filename> to find if a package is installed
3.
	

Actual Results:  program exited

Expected Results:  should have continued to run

This will probably not get fixed in the near future; we support
redhat-config-packages in future releases.
