Not much to test here. My main reason for a rebase was to update the manpages to the latest upstream versions, but there were a couple of smaller patches that were nice-to-haves as well. For this bug, I suppose just check that the manpages have been updated and that cifs mounts still work as expected. The feature bugs in comment #2 will be tracked in these bug's field separately. verified below changes applied in package cifs-utils-4.8.1-1.el6: # git log |grep manpage manpage: fix the SEE ALSO section manpage: change port option description mount.cifs: manpage: add entry for "actimeo" option manpage: add mount.cifs manpage entry for "multiuser" option manpages: document 'fsc' mount option run cifs connectathon test against cifs-utils-4.8.1-1.el6 against above comment and results passed: i386: https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/jobs/60735 x86_64: https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/jobs/60761 s390x: https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/jobs/60762 ppc64: https://beaker.engineering.redhat.com/jobs/60763 Technical note updated.
