This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Because the affected component is not scheduled to be updated in the current release, Red Hat is unfortunately unable to address this request at this time. Red Hat invites you to ask your support representative to propose this request, if appropriate and relevant, in the next release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This request was erroneously denied for the current release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. The error has been fixed and this request has been re-proposed for the current release. Also seeing this on RHEL 5.6 (PPC64 on IBM JS20 blades) using net-snmp-5.3.2.2-9.el5_5.1 and all other patches fully up to date. Will open a case with RH support for this. Opened case #00431342 with RH for this issue. FYI, RH support provided me with test packages versioned "5.3.2.2-10.el5.0.ROS00431342". These appear to resolve my issue. I don't have an SRPM, but could likely request one if someone out there on CentOS needs the fix. An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report.
