How to reproduce
-----
1. Pidgin was working in the background
2. I was typing on a gnome-terminal remotely connected to some other machine
3. Pidgin just vanished and the abrt came up to file the report

this fails when i'm connected to MSN protocol, if not this never fails.

This crash is in the direct connection support on the MSN protocol, you should be able to avoid it until we get a proper fix by turning off "Allow direct connections" on the Advanced tab of your MSN account properties.

I can't reproduce it, I just back from lunch and changed the status from away to online and the crash have ocurred.

This has stopped happening a while ago so I will try closing this with a "works-for-me" status.
