Description Andy Speagle 2010-12-10 18:18:46 UTC
Description of problem:

When I attempt to schedule a remote command to run with a package upgrade via the Spacewalk WebUI, I receive an internal server error and am unable to proceed.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Spacewalk v1.2

How reproducible:

This happens every time. I can follow the same steps each time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select a server which has packages to be updated. Click the link for the server from the main systems page that indicated the number of packages to be updated. That takes me to the upgrade packages screen. I select the packages that I want to upgrade and click "Upgrade Packages."

2. That takes me to the confirmation page. I click the link "Add Remote Command to Package Upgrade."

3. That takes me to the page where I enter script I want to run. It doesn't matter whether I choose before or after the package upgrade. I add the following to the script box:

   echo "test"

I then click "Confirm Remove Command and Schedule Package Upgrade." At this point I get an ISE.

Actual results:

Internal Server Error

Expected results:

Successful scheduling of remote command with package upgrade.

Additional info:

Please let me know what debug output you need to diagnose this error.

We did not have time for this one during Spacewalk 1.4 time frame. Mass moving to Spacewalk 1.5.
