Customer is creating raid luns using hpacucli tools, after creating the luns the device files have not been created and don't exist until a reboot. They have done testing and found that upgrading the cciss driver to 3.6.26-5 fixes their problem. The would like to have cciss updated in kernel-2.6.18-194.el5, which probably won't happen. Can I get any info on when this would be added? (5.6, 5.7)? Info: DL380G7 kernel-2.6.18-194.el5 (In reply to comment #0) > We're able to fix this problem by updating the CCISS driver to 3.6.26-5. Thanks, Tomas This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux maintenance release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in an Update release. Verified with hpacucli-8.70-8.0 on a ProLiant DL380 G6. An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
