It works for me. I use Gajim in Gnome. I may try with KDE later, I do not have it installed right now. I can reproduce the bug reliably with KDE. Dragging a contact on another one in the roster indeed fails to popup the menu. I added debug prints in src/roster_window.py:drag_data_received_data to verify that the code to create and show the gtk.Menu was really executed. There are no error messages, no tracebacks, but the menu simply does not show up. When Gajim is run under Gnome or LXDE, the menu works fine. I suspected an influence from kwin, but running "metacity --replace &" in KDE did not help. The menu works in a new installation of Fedora 14 even in KDE. It breaks when qt is updated. qt-4.7.0-8 works fine. qt-4.7.1-1 does not work. (A re-login to KDE is required after updating qt for the bug to appear.) Reassigning to qt.
